Map XX
Moving East from Piusa in the direction of Saatse.
Border marker 351
Here also new Estonian border markers. On the background, on the other side of the Piusa you see the Russian copy. Behind it, the Russian marshalling yard
to store and buffer trains which cross the border.
It looks like there was once a bridge here, at least I detected some remains on both sides.
Border marker 351A
As you see, these markers are new placed. On the Russian side, there are no sub-numbers. The criteria for placing a sub marker are not clear for me.
Border marker 351B
One more here. Beautiful view on the Piusa. In summer you can hardly accees this area.

To transport maintenance and surveillance vehicles the Estonians made some wooden bridges here. The area of the Piusa
is full of trenches.
Border marker 353A
One more sub marker. As you see these submarkers do only contain the number, no text or Estonian weapon.

Border marker 355A

Border marker 355B
The number '355B' is still missing. I assume this will be corrected as these markers are new erected.

The landscape changes here to a wooded area.
Border marker 356A
Border marker 357
No trace of the Russian copy in the woods.
Bridge over the Piusa
The border leaves the Piusa. A small bridge brings us to the other side. The Piusa will be the border once more, north-west of Saatse (438-440)
Border marker 358
Since long we see the combination RU - EE close to eachother.
Border marker 359
On Estonian side the space is opened by chopping all trees in the vicinity of the border.
Due to the activities
