Border marker 31
The usual picture: an open strip, covered with woodchips to avoid new vegetation, a stick with a small wrap, the wooden stick on the
position where the Estonian marker is planned, another stick on the border and finally the old Russian marker.

Border marker 32
A look at the south where I came from BM 31. The wooden gangway that is used for border inspection was less than 10 meters to the border to use so I was not allowed
to use it. I had to struggle many puddles again.

Border marker 33
A bit hilly here.
Border marker 34
Again a gangway close to the border.
The number on the Russian marker is not visable. On the temporary Estonian stick however I coud read '34'.

Between 34 and 35
A good look at the broad strip near the border line. It looks like it's maintained very well. The original idea was to have a sand strip
in which you easily can notice footsteps or other marks of illegal border crossing. In these wet and woody areas it's almost impossible to
construct sush a sand strip.

Border marker 35
Here the same as at BM 35. It looks like the Russian marker is painted recently, but the number '35' still has to be sprayed.
Border marker 36
It looks like the Russian marker is painted recently, they also sprayed the '36'.

Border marker 37

Wet border
I was so unlucky with all the water in the border area. Again I had to be very carful to avoid getting lost or drowned in the swamp...
Border marker 38
Woods everywhere.
Border marker 39
TEXT.
Border marker 40
A long straight line. It looks like there is a path on Russian side leading to the border.
